    Really tight on the aroma picture, but has this underlying charm of blood, spices, sexy juicy fruit of blackberries, black currants and plums. Pretty full-bodied and with tight mouthfeel with beautiful fruit of red-purple berries, clear herbal spices against junipers and deep salt layers that really build complexity. Nice acidity and firm tannin structure, but which only suits the wine as the concentrated fruit is part of the whole performance. This is a very nice built Côtie-Rôtie for the future. 94 points.
