Very mature now - golden colour, and on the sweeter side of off dry. Mature Rresling petrol nose is rather subdued. Rich and generous and satisfying if you like this style

The wine is clear and bright with a medium gold colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium+ intensity aromas of honey, dry peaches, figs, baked apple and anise. The wine is off-dry with a medium+ acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium+ body. It has pronounced intensity flavours of honey, dry peaches, figs and hints of anise. The finish is long.
It is a very good quality wine with a great fruit concentration well-balance by its acidity. It has a lingering finish, but it lacks a bit of complexity. Can drink now, but it has enough acidity and fruit concentration to be kept for another 2-3 years, but it's unlikely to develop more complexity.

Wow what a difference a day can make... I had a glass of this bottle a few days ago and it was not very impressive and quite closed. Now it was full of minerals, flowers, tropical notes and honey on the nose and very well balanced and rounded on the palate. Blind I would have guessed a Sauternes on the nose.... Very enjoyable!

Day 1 Advanced gold color, not surprising for the vintage... On the nose huge petrol, just for that I could smell this wine for a long time, flowers, lemon, thyme. On the palate lemon, minerals. There's a kind of creaminess. This is dry and I wish the finish was better because it is fairly short.
Day 2 Same color, the nose lost some of the petrol but picked up some licorice. It's now a bit oxidized but still drinking well
All in all an ok Riesling which I should have opened a couple of years ago, I'm not sure where and when I got this bottle because it was before CellarTracker.
