The SO2 version tasted against the No SO2 version. No SO2: Less developed than the SO2 version - not expected! As always no SO2 is juice-like. High acidity. 91+. SO2: oxidative notes in a nice way, toffee, caramel. I would have expected the no SO2 version being tbe most oxidative. Not juice-like. High scidity. Very different characteristics. 90+

Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of light gold colour, with watery rim and legs. Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of pear, floral notes of acacia, mineral notes of stony and waxy, sweet spice of ginger, maturity notes of petrol. The wine is developing. Palate: Dry with medium (+) acidity, the wine has medium alcohol, light body and medium (+) intensity flavours of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of green apple and pear, mineral notes of stony, sweet spice of ginger. The wine has a medium finish. Conclusion: Very good quality Alsace Riesling with an intense nose of decent complexity, with clear minerality and waxy aromas on top of the citrus and floral notes, hints of spicy. On the palate it has good acidity, refreshing and having concentration flavours and a reasonable length on the finish. It is ready to drink now and can further develop for another 2-3 years.
