N: medium intensity, lime citrus plus a musky and musty character, touch of underripe nectarine. P: lovely intensity on the palate, gush of flavour,. Plenty of steely structure, but there is fruit here to soften it, lovely limey and stone fruit, moving into suggestions of savoury on the finish. Slight IPA beer hoppy note. Good.

Back to Riesling County; 8/27/2020-8/31/2020 (Estates at the Nahe and Ruwer, different restaurants at Bad Kreuznach, Niederhausen and Trier): This is from their MONOPOL at Bockenau, when I first visited S-F I really wondered about their Bockenau sites, "far" away from the Nahe river, but it is always the floor stupid! Slate driven, the pure stone licking, tension like a row of A380 starting at Dubai air port, clarity and purity in my glass, and this lingering dancing finish on my palate, sooooo far away from Riesling hoi polloi! There is only one terrible nuisance: why for heavens sake did I start buying this great Riesling only some vintages ago? *(****), for one, two decades for sure, 96(+) potential

While the Bockenauer Felseneck was quite interesting this is just another good riesling, and nothing to get too excited about.
