  • Consumed over 2 days (stored in Vin du Somm), note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, medium garnet with noticeable edge bricking. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with aromas of Asian spice, mushroom, earth, cranberry and dried cherry. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium- tannin, medium body, medium+ intensity, 14.2% abv with flavors of dried cherry, mushroom, and spice with a medium+ finish. This is at or, more likely, just past peak with earth and mushroom notes overshadowing the fruit, but there is enough fruit to maintain a sense of balance. Overall, it's drinking very well yet with the soft tannins and receding acid levels leaving an overall mellow and subtle experience but there is still wonderful balance. Drink now.

  • Nice mature Shea vineyard Pinot. Bacon, cherry, herbs and tart finish. Yummy. Soft but intact cork,

  • Delicious Oregon PN. A bit rough disconnected on opening. I drank one glass and forgot it overnight. Gassed and stoppered in the morning. Fabulous a glass at a time over the next three days. The second day, despite my bad treatment, it was put together balanced fruit and tannin. Delicious. I wish I had a lot more. A couple more years but obviously a lot left. I suggest decant.

  • This medium garnet wine was discovered in my cellar as a "lost soldier" that likely would have been consumed a few years ago. Having been pristinely cellared since being purchased in 2008, it has held up quite well. With a core of raspberry and red cherry fruit supported with notes of mulling spices and black tea, it is medium-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (14.25%) and quite enjoyable. There are still some soft residual tannins that add to the structure, as well as a dollop of oak. Nicely persistent on the mid-palate and finish, this is a quality Pinot Noir that could easily be confused with something from the Côte d'Or. Drink now.

  • This is a really nice, balanced, pretty, Pinot with a great combination of dark and red fruit, subtle cherry and a hint of raspberry. It does have a crisp finish. Oregon Pinot done well. Mature.
