Very nice, with a hint of oily richness that holding this bottle in the cellar for a year provided. Great QPR, and feels like it could hold up for at least another few months. Somewhat Sancerre-like, but with a stronger acidity. Some floral component and sea air on the nose as well. Wish I'd bought more than just this one bottle...

Not sure but person drinking this did not like it. Tasted stale. Was not getting the community views of this wine. Yhe only positive comment was tasted better the 2nd day.

This last wine was great. The best ever. Very good fruit, citrus, pear and a touch of mineral on the finish. Best with food. We had it with aged French goat cheese and with a cilantro dip (again). Lovely and elegant with the food. A little more structured & mineral than other New World sauvignon blanc (e.g., New Zealand) A really good deal for $10 at retail, that we paid.

(Vina Leyda Garuma Sauvignon Blanc) #1; COLOR-light golden; NOSE-green moss; some lime and heavy dose of green peppers; goosenberry; & basil; TASTE-a creamy component on the mid-palate; lime & grass components; but it dips off a little on the finish for me; some nice structure, more Sancerre-like; WS-90; GV-88+

Drank much later than the drinking window. Still great!

Pale yellow in the glass. Grassy nose. Grass, tart lemon, grapefruit as well as some stone fruit and floral notes. Razor sharp acidity.
