These wines are drinking so well in the early going. Beautiful expression of Cote Rotie. Glad I picked up a good number of these as they'll continue to reward today and tomorrow.

Very smooth and ripe and quite sweet, but I wouldn't say it's out of balance. I prefer my Cote Rotie to be a bit more savory and cooler-toned, but this may develop into quite a nice wine as it evolves.

After recently tasting the 16 at Pappas Steakhouse I was ready to check out a release I purchase for the cellar.
Consumed over 3 days. At PNP it was all dark cherry, bitter cacao, licorice and the slightest hint of buttered popcorn (new TN for me). After 24 hrs of slow ox more blue fruits came about and the wine rounded out to be very enjoyable.
I will also mention this wine reminded me of the Keplinger Fuego ya Mar. Dead ringer for Cote Rotie
