A private dinner (Restaurant Sagardi, Amsterdam, NL): A few years ago I was very impressed with the 2016 at this same restaurant, but the 2017 did not deliver at that same level today. It shares the llicorella freshness with the previous vintage, but it lacks its depth of flavour and stuffing of fruit, in short the old vine concentration that should set this wine apart. I would like to retaste, cautious score.

Jólasmakk Eðalklúbbsins 2022 (Hlíðarás 10): Loftað í 2-3 tíma. Frekar dökkur litur. Fjós, mykja, bleiulykt í nefi til að byrja með. Eftir smá þyrlun á glasinu þá ruku þessir tónar úr víninu og þá komu fram grænir tónar. Líka tóbak, vindlar og sedrus viður. Þarna var líka salmíak lakkrís. Í munni þá var talsverð sýra og líka mikil sæta. Reykbragð, hangikjöt og salmíak lakkrís.
Það voru skiptar skoðanir um þetta vín. Ekki voru allir hrifnir en mér fannst það fínt. Besta rauðvínið í smakkinu fram að þessu en það kostar líka sitt eða 37,5€.

Jesper Hedegaard smagning. Traditional Proiorat style, but fresh with higher acidity. Some bitterness in the length. Not totally balanced
