  • Damn! Riesling idiot here, the last guy you want reviewing such a great wine, but this clearly special stuff. A bold tropical top note, but then it fades into grapefruit, and YET also chiseled. Chiseled tropical grapefruit. Very happy to have this with the astonishing pairing of taco salad.

  • The 2019 Raffes is just as incredible as when I had it last roughly 1,5 years ago. Just pure hedonistic pleasure. Super concentrated and mouth filling, with luxurious texture, but balanced and very precise. Honey, salt liquorice, baked lemon, ripe apricot, white peach, Mediterranean citrus fruits, pineapple mint, melon and cascades of other tropical fruits with vanilla powder, lychee and beeswax. For being such an intense wine, this goes down like a mojito on a warm summer day.
2019's from Clemens are still in their youthful exuberance and are showing so well, but can undoubtedly be saved for many years to come.

  • More porn! More porn stars! I swear that large breasted women are pouring out of the bottle like hormone crazed pirates boarding a richly laden Spanish treasure ship. Nyaw! It is enough to make one's mind turn to embezzlement to secure a steady supply, but armed robbery is quicker, so that is the path to take. The wine? Oh, it is outstanding and scored as such on the CT scale.

Tropical fruits, a touch of wet slate smell and a mouthfeel to die for; this caresses the mouth despite its weight. This is svelte defined. It might be too much for some and I can understand a purist feeling uncomfortable with it but give way to the senses and be a hedonist.
