Fairly reductive nose of citrus oil, lemon sherbet, lightly grilled nuts and a whiff of gunflint. Lean and focused at this stage, with a fine and persistent palate, “barely there” oak, a layer of succulent minerality and racy acidity. This will likely round out further with age, but remain a lifted and linear take on Meursault.

One of the Thanksgiving wines, this bottle seemed to have a bit more weight. Really quite good.

[Restaurant purchase] Lovely village Meursault, not as reductive as the previous bottle, but great fruit and good acid structure
