This is a wonderfully clear, pure and beautiful wine for a "simple" village. Will become finer with increasing ventilation. At the beginning still markedly marked by the wood, hazelnut cream, dried slices of Amalfi lemons, white peach and white flowers. After hours, the nose is getting finer and better interwoven. Balanced well on the palate, nice acidity, medium weight, clear, pure and as if pulled on a string. Mandarin, white stone fruit, slightly salty minerality, wrapped in fine wood - hazelnut and a hint of vanilla.

Henri Boillot Sydney Dinner (St Claudes, Oxford Street, Sydney): Slight bacon fat, butter, peachy fruit, sweet spice, smells round and rich. And it is equally rich but a little more spiced on the palate, Juicy, peachy with slight orange underneath, clean, long, nice.
