  Rich but also welcoming, muscular but not heavy, good use of oak, dark fruited, soft menthol. Good wine lot of substance and albeit young and a touch one dimensional still works well. Good 91

  Enjoyed from a mag. 10 months in French, 18% American oak barrels with 81% new. Decanted 30m and enjoyed over 3h.
  
  Blackberry, mocha, cherry, violets, cigar humidor, bakers chocolate.
  
  Man this was tasty.

  Detailed with notes of dark cherry and plum fruit that comes with scents of aged balsamic, luxury chocolate, fine leather, vanilla, cigar tobacco, spice, and floral pastilles with hints of sandalwood.
  The palate is seamless and elegant with suave fine-grained tannins, structured acidity and the abv which is well integrated into the wine. With an almost creamy texture the mouth is full of silky textures. The wine feels fresher than previous vintages and more finessed. Big but polished. This should age exceptionally well.

  A bit one note but it's a good note. Ripe cherry fruit rounded edges. What it lacks in complexity it makes for in sheer strength
