Popped and poured at a party with burgers as the main. Excellent Syrah, as I have come to expect from Corliss, but young: still some peppery forest tones that could stand to integrate a bit more to provide effortless drinking.

Decanted >1 hour. Still a bit young but developing nicely. Deep dark coloring with a nose of smoked meat and field flowers. Beautiful juice. Flavors of ripe, dark red/blue fruit, spice, pepper and earth. This one will be special as it matures.

Two-hour decant. Full bodied. Dark fruit. Sweet tannins. Wonderful now but should also age well.
