    Ruby color.
Nose offers red fruit and spice noyltes (cinnamon and hint of nutmeg). Earty element too.
Fresh and energetic on the intro. Shows an earthy profile with the red berry fruit. That earthiness adds some depth and weight.
    Good crisp finish.

  • PnP. Dark berry, dark cherry, spice, earth. The nose is terrific. The palate seems a bit tight right now and a little tarter than I remember, but there's some lovely cranberry and pomegranate in the finish. Perhaps not as open as the last time I tasted it in June 2022, but it's still a really solid wine. Might be best to hold for a few more years since it seems a it closed now It will easily go through 2029, so no rush on the remaining bottles.

  • Delicious wild strawberry aroma straight off the bat.
Very fruit forward but not in a cloying way. Great balance of mineral, red fruit, herbal aromatics, and terroir.

  • Way too froooty and sweet on Day 1 for my taste. We saved about 2/3 of the bottle, and it was much better on day 2, with the grapey sweetness dialed back and the acid much more prominent. Solid Pinot for the price.

  • Color is a really pretty bright translucent ruby. Nose is slightly underripe cherries and blackberries. Hints of mushrooms and forest floor. Flowers and blood orange. Light to medium body with nice acidity. Black cherry and earth. Tannins are pretty heavy and there is sort of a bitter chocolate finish.

Really solid wine, and I will definitely seek out more. This could use another year or two to bulk up a bit and gain a bit of balance but has the structure to go another 5-10 years easily.

PS - I made the above notes based on a glass given about 15-20 of air. I’m revisiting the bottle about 18 hours later and the tannins have mellowed out considerably, the fruit comes forward a bit and the earthy/savory flavors take a step back. Much better balance. In the future I’ll give this an hour in the decanter.
