  In der Nase recht reduktiv und auch deutlich verschlossen. Eriennbar sind schwarze und grüne Johannisbeeren, etwas Reineclaude, etwas weißer Pfirsich. Außerdem hell-kräutrig, etwas rauchig und mit viel hellem, gemahlenen Stein.
  
  Am Gaumen ist das recht saftig, mit hohem Säurezug, ausgestattet mit einem wunderbaren, und trotzdem noch etwas gedeckten, Fruchtbiss. Auch hier steinig, hell-mineralisch, mit Feuerstein. Pikant, angenehm bissig.
  
  Sehr lang, und das zeigt irre viel Potential. Ich versuche mal, noch 2 Flaschen zu kaufen und wegzulegen.

  A private dinner (Restaurant Waldhotel Sonnora ***, Wittlich/Dreis, Germany): Half bottle. Elegant style, slightly reduced on the nose, very minerally, pure varietal character, tight and bright acidity, very good length. Should age extremely well, but I am not really getting the hype yet.

  Big Boom Bang - rock-solid teenager in bloom and my first encounter with Weingut Tement and this exquisite große lage 100% sauvignon blanc cuvée. To die for-nose, slowly drowing in aromas of citrus, gooseberries, emerging tropical fruits, and lots of Alp herbs. Palate is utterly complex, medium+-bodied with razor-blade acidity, precise salinity, multi-layered, excellent ripe fruit concentration, intensity and roundness. Touch of grapefruit bitterness, mineral-dry, citrusy almost everlasting finish. Go buy it!
