Decanted 90 minutes and drank with Chili & Brown Sugar rubbed rack of lamb. Dark color. Wife guessed Syrah because it does have an initial hit of sweetness but it does fade to Tempranillo. Medium finish. Medium/full mouth feel. This one might be hard to guess in a blind tasting. Excellent QPR at $35. Cost is higher now with recent vintages. Excellent Toro if you haven’t tried this region.

Decanted 30 minutes but it’s not enough. My bad. It needs two hours to softer. Dark black color. This is just so tasty but a bit tannic initially. At two hour mark the wine softened and was lovely. Dark black fruits dominate. Toro is becoming a favorite Spanish wine of mine now.

Decanted one hour. Poured 1/2 glasses 30 minutes before dinner of grilled sweetbreads. Dark color. Nice tannins but soft. Full flavor profile of dark red fruits. Full mouthfeel. Very smooth with nice acidity & full body. Great QPR. Delicate aromas of berries. Search Spain Toro wines out before others figure it out.

Decanted one hour then drank over the next 45 minutes. Initially bold & full but completely approachable. Dark red fruits dominate. Medium/full mouthfeel that softened over the dinner. Excellent QPR. Sorry Collector1855 couldn’t appreciate a $35 wine like this. Spain wines are great QPR wines. Get yours before people figure it out. Big hitter Chinese won’t like this lol.
Color: Dark purple core. Nose: Blackberry, plum, oak, vanilla. Red + black fruit, Taste: full body, medium plus acidity, medium+ sweetness, low tannin, medium alcohol
