Opened in the morning and recorked; poured ~10 hours later. This needed air. Dark fruited -- blue and black berries -- with leather and pencil shavings. A nicely made wine with good balance for a modern wine from Oakville.

Dark red fruit - almost jam like in depth and density. Lots of gravel, stone, earthy tones mixed in.

See previous note as it is spot on - lots of graphite too - and easily competes with the other wines in this very strong three day run.
