Cigar box, cedar and earthy currants take over the nose. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with soft tannins and a crispness to the red fruits on the mid-palate and in the sweet, chewy, savory, minty finish. You can enjoy this shortly after release. Drink from 2023-2035.

November 2022 in Zürich) www.vvwine.ch

90-91 vvPunkte (55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 13.5% Alkohol) Stark vom Barrique gepräft, viel blonder Tabak, dunkle Kirschen, Brombeeren, etwas Mokka. Langer Abgang. Braucht ein Stück Fleisch. Viel Wein fürs Geld. 2026-2040 (April/Mai 2021)

With a touch of garrigue that reminds me of the Rhone Valley you also find bright red currants and dried floral notes. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and a crispness to the red fruits on the palate. Fresh and chewy, you can drink this shortly after release. 87-89

Airoldi - Bordeaux En Primeur 2020 (Quay Restaurant, International Passenger Terminal, Sydney): Toasted oak, baked black fruits, touch of earth and spice. Chewy, chalky tannins on front of mouth, similar slightly baked fruit profile. Nah.
