  The ‘2020 GR-174 Vi de Gran Recorregut’ is the estate’s entry-level wine, a blend of 43 % Garnatxa Negra, 18 % Samsó (Carinyena), 17 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 14 % Syrah, 5 % Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1 % Ull de Llebre (sourced from red and black slate soils). It was aged for five months partly in barriques, partly in stainless steel tanks. The name of the wine refers to the long-distance hiking trail (Sender del Priorat) that crosses the vineyards of the Priorat region. Deep, youthful cherry-red in color with violet reflections at the rim. Enticing nose revealing scents of fresh red berry fruit, plum, licorice and a hint of sandalwood and menthol. The medium- to full-bodied palate shows a very elegant and accessible wine plenty of succulent plum, cherry and mulberry fruit, with quite a velvety texture, silky tannins and a well-balanced acidity structure. Long and harmonious aftertaste with a slight balsamic touch. A wine with an unbeatable QPR, designed for early drinking pleasure.
  
  De 'GR-174 Vi de Gran Recorregut 2020' is de instapwijn van het wijngoed, een blend van 43 % Garnatxa Negra, 18 % Samsó (Carinyena), 17 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 14 % Syrah, 5 % Merlot, 2 % Cabernet Franc en 1 % Ull de Llebre (geteeld op rode en zwarte leisteenbodems). Hij kreeg een rijping van vijf maanden mee, deels in barriques, deels in roestvrijstalen tanks. De naam van de wijn verwijst naar het wandelpad (Sender del Priorat) dat zich door de wijngaarden van de Priorat-streek slingert. Diep, jeugdig kersrood van kleur met violette schakeringen aan de rand van het glas. Verleidelijke neus met aroma’s van vers rood bessenfruit, pruimen, zoethout en ook een vleugje sandelhout en menthol. In de mond: een vrij krachtige maar zeer elegante en toegankelijke wijn vol succulent pruimen-, kersen- en moerbeifruit, met een vrij fluweelachtige textuur, zijdezachte tannines en een fraai uitgebalanceerde aciditeitsstructuur. Lange, harmonieuze afdronk met een lichte balsamische toets. Een wijn met een geweldige prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding, gemaakt om vlug gedronken te worden.

  Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo. Catalonia. Very hot to cold climate. Partially oaked. A bit rough compared to other Priorats and grainy on the palate. Medium body. With a blend so extensive, it's hard to tell what the wine wants to be or how it wants to express itself. No definite fruit profile or clear flavor components. Ok but underwhelming.
