  • Bright, zesty nose, gardenia, acacia, with mineral depth. Texturally very tight and will get better over time. Palate is charged with acidity, some honeysuckle, nettles and fresh fennel. Lovely wine.

  • beautifully refined, restrained and silky with flavors of salty lemons, seawater and volcanic minerals. Long and delicious on the finish with taut intensity and a mineral-driven complexity just emerging. Improved dramatically in the glass and this should vastly improve as it develops over the next 5-7 years. Just about my favorite Italian white. At Lucciola's, UWS. 92+

  • Pale gold. Muted/ discrete nose. Grapefuit notes on the palate with pithy barely ripe stone fruit and some salinity. But nothing floral or perfumed. Found it hard to identify. A beautiful texture in the mouth. Listed as 12.5% but seems weightier than that. Long, with a pleasant slight bitterness on the very back end. Has a certain understated grace and much more restraint than I expected. My first experience with this wine.
