85 points day 1I hated this when I opened it, but it came to grow on me after just a bit of time in the glass. Another example tonight of sweet cabernet, and again a bit too sweet for my tastes. Thankfully that settles out a bit with air. Little in the way of structure (acids/tannins). One more bottle left, I would hope to open it up with a casual grill meal, something like heavily amped-up, spiced burgers. Pleasant enough, but not something I'd seek out. Would probably make a good glass pour at a wine bar though I don't remember the price or production levels. As an aside, I hate the synthetic cork. Update, Day 2: quite a bit better. More integrated. The sense of "sweet" has thankfully faded. 88 points and a very pleasant drinker.

For me this is over-oaked causing the creaminess and thickness to this. Mouthfeel is more like dairy creamer than wine. There is some good fruit under all the oak and vanilla, but I don't see it ever coming out to play. ($18)

Very nice Cab, dark fruit on the nose, cedar and a little nice cigar tobacco on the nose. This got better the longer it sat open. Good fruit on the palate, nice finish with a little peppery spice on the tongue. Good qpr in PA right now for $18.

Gets better with time, this is nice for the $. black fruits, slight vanilla, and cedar w/ tobacco and mint. good complexity for this style, nice structure and delineation, tannins present but not harsh or unpleasant. Good weekday sipper. Solid QPR 89-90

Nicer then I expected. Bit of spice. Nice mouth feel. Still quite a bit of fruit. Significant sediment in bottle.
