  • I did like this wine but I do think the last 20 years of cellaring may have been a waste because I've tasted wines less than 10 years old with this much development. Very little sediment, which probably explains a lot.
    A lifted nose of mulberries, dark chocolate blueberries and leather. Balanced mouth of cranberries and dried apricots but not a hint of tertiary flavor. Medium length finish of salted plums. Pleasant food wine but not a wine that rewards long term cellaring.

  • LEATHER, TOBACCO, AND DEEP CHERRY FRUIT IN THE AROMA. DEEP JAMMY FRUIT IN THE FLAVOR WITH BLACK CHERRIES AND A TOUCH OF LICORICE IN THE FINISH. NICE COMPLEXITY AND A MEDIUM LENGTH FINISH.
