  • Light red, clean, deep nose with evolved aromatic profile. Fruit present, leaning towards the dark red side of the spectrum, but in harmony with other scents. Palate is a bit tight in the beginning, but eases up with time and develops into a really classy wine, lithe and nimble but still with great presence. Tannins present but completely integrated. Not a big wine, but lingers in your mouth and reminds you of the greatness of this area for making truly memorable wines. Modest length. Keep

  • Took a while to open up. Tar, smokey bacon, cinnamon and plum on the nose. After an hour the bottle showed some nice dark flavored ad a little acidity. If I had another bottle I'd drink it soon since there wasn't much structure and acidity left in our bottle but overall a fun mature wine.

  • I admit that I'd found this wine a bit lean 3 years ago, but this bottle had convincing weight and harmony. The nose still reminded me of strawberries but now mature gamey flavours are starting to gain the ascendency. A slight sweet and sour effect on the palate but overall refined, gown-up Burgundy with perhaps 5 years of life ahead.
