Found this nugget while mining in my cellar on Day 6 of the COVID shut-down. I was a bit worried that it was past eh supposed DBD of 2017 but not to worry it was D-lish. Great nose and long finish. All the flavors note by others and full of Dark Joy. It's not too late! Yumma!

Deep ruby/garnet color. Nose of dark fruits and herbs. Palate was currant, licorice, vanilla and cedar. Nice fruit and baking spice through the mid palate. Silky texture, medium/long finish. Very nice, should continue to evolve but drinking well now

(MARSTON Family Vineyard CABERNET) Marston/Oustal Dear Friends, A bit of an odd pairing but both are limited so I'm lumping them together. This parcel is set to arrive in a few days - it is not a long-term pre-arrival. Both will ship this fall. Have a great weekend - - Jon Rimmerman (2006) L'Oustal Blanc "Naick 6" blanc EXTREMELY LIMITED This wine has been almost impossible for me to find but my patience has paid off. In a nutshell, this is David Schildknecht's "biggest revelation of the last several years" and that includes Germany, Austria, France - everywhere. David tastes more artisanal/BIO and terroir-focused wine (at all price-points) than almost anyone in the world so a statement like that carries substantial weight - VERY HARD TO FIND: 2005 Marston Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Napa (Spring Mountain) EXTREMELY LIMITED I know nothing about this wine but we've had a number of requests for it so here you go... Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA SOFR6411 CA8799
(Marston Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon) Lovely blackberry, violet and plum nose; tasty blackberry, plum, berry and black fruit palate; medium-plus finish
