By the bottle at Noreetuh in NYC. Decanted for about an hour. Nose is very ripe, cherries and violets and clay. Palate is really great; savory beef notes, hit of olive brine, blueberries and raspberries, long crisp finish. Great stuff, but maybe a bit more ripe and fruity than I have found in other vintages and enjoyed slightly more.

This was delightful. Far more elegant than I expected. Lighter in body, with purple florals and spice to go along with the briny olive note. Impeccably balanced and not lacking in substance, but more ethereal than I was expecting for such a young St. Joseph.

Gorgeous olive tapenade nose, exactly what I want from syrah. The palate lacks a little complexity but it's well balanced and drinking surprisingly well now. Not sure how much this will gain with time. I enjoyed this much more than the 2019 a few months back.

Opened 90 minutes in advance. Medium ruby, certainly not opaque. Fennel, olive, and red fruit. Medium bodied. Open tangy cranberry/cherry fruit with some stemmy elements, light soil, and surprisingly soft tannins. Powerful, meaty. A good winter wine but not particularly special at the current tariff.

I always love Gonon, and this bottle was especially good compared to the one I had earlier in the year. Quite floral, olive tapenade, blackberry, some pepper, drinking quite well already!
