So fresh and vibrant especially in the context of the vintage. There is a bold and refined streak of acidity that matches perfectly with the ripe lemon/lime fruit. The texture is intense and grippy with great freshness and the finish is so perfectly layered with complex notes of hazelnuts, mint and minerals. So good now and peaking for sure.

Floral, gunflint and citrus on the nose. As of now, the wine has not fully shown its prem cru potential. Lots of underlying material packed in high density. It has the typical 05 Coche richness and ripeness that are supported by vivid acidity. The last glass is the best in a 3 hour dinner. Painfully young. Needs a lot more time.

Executive Wine Seminar's: Coche-Dury vs. The Challengers: Tasted blind in a flight of 3 w 2005 Boillot Meursault Genevrières and 2005 Lafon Meursault Genevrières. Nose: Biggest nose of the 3, sweet, butterscotch. later showed more brown spice aromas. Mouth: Very citrus on entry, again salty, Very juicy. Really nice mouth feel and great juicy lime finish. Nose: 4/6, Palate: 6/6, Finish: 5/6, Je ne sais quoi (wild card): 2/2 = 17/20 = 94/100. My guess: 2005 Coche-Dury Meursault Genevrieres. My #1 of 3 for the flight. Group's #3 of 3 for the flight w 3 votes.

Shin. Light straw. Very floral. Delicate, elegant, delineated and oh so pure. Real standout, unique in the lineup. (548)
