Initially there were Burgundian notes of oatmeal, nuts and greengage but it was slightly reductive and bitter. As the wine opened out, there was vanilla, oak and spice all ruined by an overly sweet finish. So much so I would describe this as medium-dry, rather than off-dry. Not at all to my taste. CHP 85 pts

Complex, more Chablis in style, great balance on palate, white petals, white peach, dialled back wood influence

Hint of reduction,
Nose of matches, hint of sulfurs, buttery character not overwhelming, pastry, petit choux et creamy feel
Palate is very tart and fresh with great balance between power and acid, great length, great chardonnay style, length and med alcohol level
Very Nice Wine, if not able to get a Tolpuddle, that cave block is a great option

Mild nose of jasmine, peach, and light caramel. Palate shows sour, tangy flavours of apple and peach, backed by mild oak.
