Superb as always, but give it more time. I grabbed a dozen bottles for TG, should have been more careful about vintage, rushing, put in fridge to cool, and only noted the year when I went to open. Not a disaster if you have more, it’s a great wine, better night two, but if you can wait do so. An admission. I don’t have much non Burgundy white, and virtually every bottle I have came from and has come from Peter Michael for decades. I love Les Pavots altho the price is getting a bit ambitious, but the secret of getting on the allocation list is the access to the wonderful array of single vineyard chardonnays and of course L Apres Midi, for me the best Sauvignon blanc from California.

With Sunday night sushi after the Giants surprised me by winning a game. The nose is floral with hints of vanilla. The palate was melon, peach, white toast, a touch of oak and a little vanilla leading to a long smooth finish.

Third time trying! As expected, nice fruit, well balanced, not as oaky as what we recalled from a year ago. Quite nice.
