  Almost everything I expect for normale BDM. Red cherry, meaty, nice exotic spice nose with fresh ginger. Mid acidic, and well absorbed tannin makes nice texture in palate. A little jammy at first but slowly gets the balance. All in good form in 3 hours, and lasts very long time.

  Dinner with Friends (l'Etoile, Madison, WI): Light color. Aromas of sandalwood, cherry, spice and sage. Heightened acidity with flavors of cherry and currants. Very nice.
