Decanted about 5 hours. Nose of licorice, dried plums and anise. This is now starting its transition to secondary notes, while still retaining some of those primary dark stone fruits as well. The soft tannins have not fully resolved yet and there is plenty of acidity to keep this really fresh and vibrant. Love the saddle leather, menthol, and tea leaves which show up on the moderately long spicy finish. Not fully mature yet, but none the less in a really nice spot at the moment. 89 Points

Note: I use a rating scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.
Drank over a few days, opened up a bit over this time. My impression is similar to those of numerous others -- no great drama here, but nothing to scoff at. Nicely balanced, reasonable grip. Nothing out of line. I have one more and I am not worried about drinking it immediately.
2015 Port Harvest Tour; 9/26/2015-10/3/2015 (Portugal): Bottled in 2008. Dark purple with bricking on the edges. Violet and some herbal notes on the nose. Unctuous mouthfeel. Blackberry and some dark plum on the palate. Grippy tannins on the mid-palate and some fresh acidity with a touch of bitterness on the finish.

(Quinta do Crasto Late Bottled Vintage Port) Older vineyard lots make up the core of this blend, which is exclusively foot-trodden. After spending two years in cask, the wine is bottled unfiltered. A big, blackberry nose and palate lead to a long finish. This delicious Port will continue to age for a half-century. Winery Spotlight: Quinta do Crasto
(Quinta do Crasto Porto Late Bottled Vintage) Opaque black violet color; berry, black fruit, licorice nose; tight, big, berry, black fruit palate, well made but not complex; long finish

Looking back, I think this wine drank better earlier. Still a decent Port. If my sentence was to drink this every day, I am yours.

Too far in the past to provide an informed TN, but the bottle was enjoyable.
