Quite a lot of Chianti (Must & Lees, Warren Street): A Pinot quality to this - powdery and slightly vegetal, herbal with red berries and spice. High toned with a gentle concentration on the palate, purple fruit notes and drinking well now without too much structure. Doesn't scream 'Chianti' but interesting nonetheless

A very well balanced wine, just enough acidity and tannins to be interesting without being overwhelming. Strong notes of red berries and a hint of licorice.
Leave it in a decanter for an hour to unlock a large amount of flavour and complexity.

An enjoyable, delicate Chianti that needs some air to show its best. After a few hours the sour and sweet cherry fruit was wonderfully intertwined with a curious baked bread flavour (oak influence?) and leaf litter. Tea-leaf tannins and sufficient, but not demanding, acidity. I am sure this will evolve nicely!

Fruit driven with classic cherry notes. Fresh acid medium tannins. Simple but well made. Hints of slightly oak in the background.
