  I had high expectations and was curious to taste this producer for a long time; many mention it as a hidden gem and one of the few Serralunga producers still accessible. Coincidentally, I found myself tasting it blindly, and this is what I wrote: Wine with a crystalline garnet color, displaying great vivacity and brightness. The nose opens with a beautiful floral note of dried rose and violet, followed by fruit with macerated strawberries and raspberry. The spice primarily consists of cinnamon and cloves, with a lovely ethereal note that completes a complex olfactory impact. In the mouth, it's dry and warm, with noticeable yet well-integrated tannins, good persistence, and decent freshness. Overall, a good wine that probably has more to offer in terms of balance; the vintage is indeed very approachable, helping it already perform at a great level. Maybe I expected more; it's an excellent wine, but I don't find the 'artisanal' characteristic I was looking for.
  
  
  
  Mi aspettavo molto ed ero curioso di assaggiare questo produttore da tempo, molti lo citano come perla nascosta e tra i pochi produttori di serralunga ancora accessibili. Caso vuole che io mi sia trovato ad assaggiarlo alla cieca, questo è quanto ho scritto: Vino dal colore granato cristallino di grande vivacità e luminosità. Naso che apre con una bellissima nota floreale di rosa e viola appassita, poi il frutto con fragole in macerazione e lampone. La spezia si compone principalmente di cannella e chiodi di garofano, bella la nota eterea che completa un impatto olfattivo complesso. In bocca è secco e caldo, con un tannino in evidenza ma già ben integrato, bella la persistenza e di buona freschezza. Nel complesso un buon vino che probabilmente può esprimere ancora qualcosa di più sul piano dell'equilibrio, l'annata è davvero di pronta beva e questo lo aiuta ad esprimersi già ad un ottimo livello. Forse mi aspettavo di più, ottimo vino ma non trovo il tratto "artigianale".

  Medium bodied and intense with a firm tannin structure. Dark cherries, blueberries, rosehip, sweet licorice and tobacco.
