The oak here is not bad on the finish. Found the “tropical fruit” notes to be absent. Lacked the acidity I generally find in French Sauvignon blancs of a similar price point, and the minerality was either missing or covered by the oak finish. It did pair nicely with my Chilean sea bass.
Not bad, would buy again, but might go back to France next time.

Crisp, light, and with just enough fruit to keep it interesting without being overwhelming.

An above average Sauv Blanc, with NZ-like tropical fruit top notes, and a hint of minerality and oak. But a tad overpriced versus other choices.
