Brief note. My last bottle. Fully mature and super easy to drink. Shows the telltale spice I’ve grown accustomed to from Cristom and a pleasing secondary nose and palate. Drink up I think

PNP. Cork perfect. Color bricking. Nose has unmistakeable Cristom nose w spice and earth dominating the strawberry fruit. Swishing shows mostly acid structure remaining. The tannins mostly melt in your mouth. Sipping this shows polished earthy fruit with a med length pleasing finish. Prime to drink

P&P, the slight bricking on the rim suggests full maturity. The delicious wine in the glass confirms this theory. Never to be confused with a Burg, or a even whatever considerations I would lob out there to describe typical OR pinot, no, this is through and through 100% Cristom. Like another producer I adore, Cayuse, this 02 Jessie appeals to my classic wine sensibilities but through unconventional means. Low acidity and big, bold flavor profiles would normally have me turning the other way, but they pull it off and get it right somehow, and with pretty good consistency I might add. Aged strawberry and brown sugar play off some earthy notes, all surrounded by a most vivid display of baking spices. Again, this might sound like a pinot that tires easily, simply not the case. I was bummed to finish the last glass on my last bottle, but I know this is a producer I will be drinking plenty of in the years ahead.

Gorgeous again. Beautiful burgundian-style nose. Notes of anise, cherry and vanilla.

Superb again. Great depth, with earthy nose and luxurious mouth feel. Notes of oak and blackberry. Seamless finish.
