Red cherries and plums, medium tannins. On palate slightly dry mouthfeel and some sour cherries, wisp of eucalyptus. Medium finish. Paired with some French Comte cheese.

I expected more character. Not too strong in the nose, palate round, harmonious and rather fruity. Not too much tannin or acidity. Went very well with pasta and tomato-based sauce! All in all good!

PnP. Color is a bit darker than other Chiantis I've had. Initially smelled like a bag of Twizzlers with a hint of vanilla and dried herbs. Medium-bodied.
The palate didn't quite match; there was a bitterness on the finish and lacked the sweet fruit even though ABV was only 13.5%. There was no depth.
