WS Grand Tour (Walkaround Tasting) (New Orleans): Our first taste of the evening and I think in retrospect I apppreciate it even more. This is so open and inviting, full of red and black cherries and just delicious.

Lots of mixed cherry, blackberry, and earthy spice. This is very young and needs time and air. There was a metallic tinge that would likely be corrected with a good decant.
Tried this at Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour in New Orleans. First time to one of these. My wife and I met up with Decanting Queen. Very fun.

Easy and smooth drinking. Silky palate and aroma of smoke, earth and mild dark berries. Low tannin.

World of Pinot Noir - 3/5/23 - quick impressions: Broad, dark fruited and ripe with secondary notes of five spice, cedar and violet. Sinewy and dense at the moment.
