UGCB tasting-Amsterdam 2021 Bordeaux 03-04-2024: Nice fruit, juicy and fresh, good citrus and body, firm tannins and a good aftertaste; undoubtedly a good P/Q.

(87-89 vvPunkte) Offene, reiffruchtige Nase, Zwetschge, Gewürze, dunkle Beeren. UGCB) vvWine.ch

70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot 12.5% vol Near opaque Poised nose: fresh and pure, sense of blue/purple, lovely graphite-tinged cassis – really good stuff!
The palate is lively, with a very juicy frame, a little better balanced than the Roque de By ’21. Fresh and elegant, fine chalky grip, savoury, juicy and attractive with crisp red fruit flavours, and a fine vein of black fruit. Hint of salinity, tasty balanced and fresh with decent length.

Forward, early-drinking, medium-bodied, peppery-cherry filled wine with a shot of menthol in the endnote that you can enjoy on release. Drink from 2023-2028. 85-87
