I apparently liked this more than the other reviewers on here. I appreciate this wines for its florality (its like smelling white blossom!), its high acidity, purity and elegance. If you're looking for a rich white Burgundy this won't be your thing.

Mercury Mouth ft Becky Wasserman Burgs w/Tim Davey (E&R Wines, Portland OR): The nose is balanced and fresh with pears, apples, almond paste, spring florals, daffodils, and some stone fruits. This has an attractive, pristine quality that makes up for its lack of depth. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and lithe with crisp, medium+ acidity that is also really mouthwatering. This is a fun and balanced Aligote that shows good freshness while lacking a bit of depth across the nose and palate.

Mercury Mouth Becky Wasserman Tasting (E&R Wine Shop, Portland, Oregon): Surprised by the other tasting notes. Quick note as this was wine 1 of 11 in a tasting: Citrus, white flowers, unripe Granny Smith, apricot. Med to med+ body, med ++ acid, very long finish, and really nice oily texture. Days later I still remember the seductive texture. A wine that draws emotion! My favorite white wine of 3 and overall WOTN.

Nose: Citrus, banana Notes: it's always a problem when a maker has a reputation so big that the results often ends up in disappointment. I would agree that this is relatively better than most regular Aligotes but unfortunately I can't say that this deserves the hype it recieved. I've recently tried Buisson Charles 2022 Aligote from the barrel and to me that is some fine Aligote but this Faure is not in the same league. Nevertheless, after breathing for a while it became a little more accessible and the acidity softened a little. I'm generally unable to enjoy most Aligotes and I remain pessimistic about the potential of this grape variety. I don't know if aging helps as I'm really not familiar with what aging would do to this wine? Perhaps try again in 2 years? Drink: 2025+ Rating: 85

So sour and not balance, do not understand why it can sell at HKD 7000 plus… tried at restaurant Cave et Cuisine because it’s Euro 70. Won’t try it again!
