  Raisiny chocolate flauvors, herbs and hints of iron, probably not the best bottle.

  Double decanted one hour. Wine was ruby with complex nose. Notes of leather, dried fruit and oak. Paired with Spanish-themed dinner of salads, white fish in tomatoes and BBQ'd chicken. The lower tone of the character of the aged wine allowed it to go well with the fish.

  Double-decanted 45 minutes. Knew it would be good from the sweet fruit aromas. Shared with Dewey. Sheila found us great big glasses. After 24 years the wine presented beautifully. Still good fruit woven with subtle oak and tertiary notes. Enjoyed what little I tasted as my dear wife shared around my glass. Hope the other bottles are as good.
