Been awhile, Barbera d` Alba Aves is the best from the old vineyard. Drunk in the Giacomo Conterno glass Sensory, for once I recalled the nose and taste, just like a fresh Pinot Noir with anything to adore. The best Barbera I ever had, not like those oaky undrinkable ones you normaly get. A winner and god Q/P🇮🇹🍷❤️

Cranberry with spice, intense minerality, and wild bramble, resulting in a wine of surprisingly great complexity, length, and provocativeness. I don't particularly love cranberry and tend to avoid it, even on Thanksgiving. Despite that, I'm glad I bought a half case of this. It really does reward and challenge. If the cranberry flavor profile is to your liking, you might love this and perhaps rate it much higher than I did. Recommended even to those to who avoid cranberry.

Subdued compact but smood fruit, medium+ acidity, raspy tannins, taste of cherries and blueberries. Quite young now but will open fine after some years.

Fruity, rich, cranberry and black tea. Medium bodied. A spot more acidity would go far.
