CHE87 Usually we are waiting for high acidity from barbera. And think about it to get ready. But with wine absolutely another. And very good berries remain without support from the juiciness

opaque blackberry color. slightly sweet brambly fruit otn, definitely some earthy aspects---becomes all bittersweet chocolate after some air. explodes with big dark fruit and leaves you with an herbal, savory, minerally finish. completely delicious---wish we had more of these to enjoy. drink up!

This had an expressive, earthy nose;it did not fall apart with food and had a balanced and interesting expression in the mouth. Everything about this wine was restraint. The fruit was middle red sour cherries mixed with ripe bing cherries. The earthiness was a mild yeastiness that was a delight to smell and brought down the high frequency of the acidity.
