  • Tasting the 2022s from Louis Boillot. The Louis Boillot wines manage to combine a ripe berry fruit with herbal and mineral freshness which works well. While Les Croix Noires and Evocelles didn’t show too much at this stage, the overall quality of the wines is more than decent in view of the price points and they are well worth seeking out, especially the ones from Volnay (for early accessibility) and the Les Cherbaudes and Les Pruiler for aging.

    Tasting note:
A scented aroma profile with varied floral notes surrounding a ripe, red fruit of raspberry. Nicely underlined with mineral notes. Juicy and liner palate with good tension.
