I had forgotten how precise and clear a style nigl is. The fruit is so mineral you can almost miss it. But it does come around. Good the second day open as well.

Consistent with previous bottle. Almost clear in the glass. Minerals and citrus on the nose are a preview for the intense and focused orange-laced minerals that pervade the palate. Exceptionally pure and focused, everything about this wine is in the right place. Great acidity and bright fruit but it is the chalky minerality puts it over the top. I could (and may) make this my house wine.

Gruner Veltliner Tasting (Waterford Wines Milwaukee): said to be the best in the kremstal. light nose of lemon citrus. smells like water. Ok, more like the citric acid bucket at the winery. there is some tannic extraction here. chalk on the palate, but not so much fruit.

Love the wine, love the QPR. Bought out the stock at the store...no way it will last in the cellar. Bright, lemony...summer, summer summer.

Refined and pure. Cristaline. Like water. Less herbage than Brundlymeyer. Vibrant.
