More Gevreys (Arlequin Wines, San Francisco): Light brownish red. Frankly funky aromas. Dry and earthy, nice texture, but a terrible off flavor in the middle almost caused projectile spitting to get this out of my mouth and taste buds as quickly as possible. Awful, probable bacterial spoilage.

PnP then followed over two days. Light ruby tending to garnet, clear. Medicinal at first but it gets clean quickly. Dark cherries macerated in alcohol, spices, some soja sauce. Still fresh and airy, but shows some evolution too. On day two it started to be a bit oxidated. On the palate it is harmonious and smooth, but it's still fresh. Deep and earthy/mineral, all well integrated with the fruit. Tannins are completely integrated. Good length. It showed best on day one. Very good, but not great.
