  • Flowers, plums, blackberries, truffle, black cherries, dark chocolate, smoke, and espresso show readily in the nose, The palate is lush, supple, creamy, and vibrant, with silky tannins, length, and loads of ripe, black cherries, blue fruit, that are all accompanied by dark chocolate. Harvesting took place September 5 - October 4, making this one of the longest harvests in the history of the estate. The wine blends 70% Merlot with 30% Cabernet Franc. 13.9% ABV, 3.58 pH. Drink from 2028-2045. 94-96 Pts.

  • 95-97 Punkte. 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet-Franc die auf blauem Lehm gedeihen; Dunkle Frucht, klar und rein wie ein Bergbach, Gänsehaut, Veilchen, Rosen, Lindenblüten, Safran; am Gaumen fruchtig, präzis, was knackige Frucht, ziseliertes Tannin, alles ist an seinem Platz, viel Kraft und Dichte, dabei leichtfüssig wie eine Balletttänzerin; hervorragende Länge. Ein grossartiger Clos du Clocher, wird ausgezeichnet reifen. (En Primeur Tasting April 2024, 13.9 Alkohol)
