This was ruby colored, medium bodied with red and black fruits giving way to rustic, dusty herbs and spices, tobacco, floral notes and a bit of green pepper with tangy moderate tannins on the finish. https://unwindwine.blogspot.com/2021/02/chateau-picque-caillou-pessac-leognan.html

Dusted, slightly diluted cherry, green pepper and herbs. Light herbal tinged spices and a hint of violet. A real greenness on the nose. Drinking fine now but could be put away for a few years. Medium bodied, with medium plus tannins. More on the food friendly, greener, slightly rustic side.

Very rich, dark, deep fruit core, smoky and yet and very fragrant red fruits, a touch jammy, very nicely presented, rather complete except it is a bit rustic and yet I love the style of it. Very ready to drink now and I guess it is a good value too! One of my star of the 2010 UGC Bordeaux tasting in Hong Kong.

Dark robe. Not very complex, a bit rustic. Could improve with a few more years.
