A little bricking but still very dark ruby in color. Loads of spice on the nose and plate. In that nice sweet spot in development where the sweet fruit is still present but on the finish a little savory character is beginning to develop. A hint of black olives emerges with time and then disappears with more time. Tannins are still present but very balanced with suggesting that this has room to improve.

Drank with lunch at La Tour d'Argent in Paris. From a 375ml off their stupdendous wine list. Beautiful and elegant. Strawberries, cherries and forest floor with a goregous nose and an elegant frame. This was not overripe at all...just delicious fruit with some nice secondardy charatcteristics. Super fresh. For my money, Jadot may be the best bang for buck Burdundy around.

Louis Jadot Cellar Visit, Barrel Tasting and Lunch in the Vineyard (Beaune): Served at lunch at Jadot. Elegant and mature red fruit on nose and palate. Very good spice, easily identified as from Vosne. Moderate weight and density for the vintage.

11 Burgundy Tasting During the La Bonne Vie Wine Tasting Dinner (Lakewood, California): Rich, candy nose and taste, but well balanced, hint of bacon on the nose and palate, medium/big body.
