This is the second bottle I’ve opened in the past year (WTSO purchase). Both same. Pleasant but nothing special at all. Thin. Last night we had an Antica Terra 2010 which blew this away.
If you happen to have any left drink now with a light lunch.

Slightly depressed cork. Initial whiff of volatile acidity. Very pale colour, with perhaps just a tinge of bricking. Nearly no nose, though there are perhaps some tobacco and earth notes. Very light on the palate as well, with quite some acidity, but lacking in concentration and flavour. Somewhat harsh tannins, and a medium-length alcoholic finish. All in all, a completely unimpressive bottle of wine, and extremely in want of the necessary combination of concentration and complexity; not much better than a good quality villages wine from Gevrey. I'm appalled that anyone would even be willing to put their name on this and call it grand cru, much less Le Chambertin at that. For shame. My opinion hasn't changed much after storing the bottle, one night, under vacuum in the fridge. There's a bit more red fruit on the nose, but the palate has not appreciably developed.

Pale garnet color. Nose reticent at first but developed with air, showing baking spice, fresh mint and not much fruit. Palate conversely showed plenty of sour cherry, watermelon jolly rancher and wet rock. Long finish with some earthier flavors emerging on the finish that weren't present in the mouth.

Completely empty on the nose, body, and palate. There was never any life here I suspect, a WTSO sham.
