The fifth time consuming this wine. Like last-time, a brownish-red body and cloudy. Raspberry, cinnamon, apricot, caramel, some licorice, root beer, herbs, spices, a little roasted game meat and floral perfume. High alcohol, but not as high as a port. Full bodied, intense and rich, and is very smooth. It's on its drinking plateau now and drinking about the same as a year ago. It may have a couple years left for enjoyment. As I have mentioned in the past, I like the wine!

4th time to taste this wine. The last time was one year ago. Now, it has a cloudy brownish colored body. I still get raspberry, apricot, caramel, root beer, leather, roasted game meat, herbs, spices and floral perfume. Seems port-like; high alcohol, but not as high as a port. Full bodied, intense and rich. Really mature now. Hard to tell the longevity factor here, but I'll consume the next bottle within the year. I had this one with roasted duck - it was a good pairing.

Third time tasting this wine. A reddish-brown, cloudy body. Aromas and flavors of raspberry, apricot, caramel, root beer, leather, roasted game meat, herbs, spice and floral perfume. Not much bacon fat this time. Somewhat port-like; high alcohol. Full bodied, rich and intense. Seems fully mature now. I like this wine.

DHWine tasting. Very pleasant sweet red, reminiscent of port.

Rusty colour. Quite oxidised but just about still ok.
