Very light brick red colour. Tart when opened, then half an hour later when poured with the meal, expansive, old pinot on the nose, with considerable fruit. Still lovely underlying sweetness, yet firm in the mouth. Final glass about two hours after opening was fading, shifting to earth tone. On the decline but a pleasure, with roast chicken and sauce of freshly picked morels.

Dave's pick, as it was his birthyear. Unfortunately for the wine, I don't think as much care was expended on the wine as Dave. Some old seepage under capsule, and this was cooked. Pruney, maderized, a couple of people actually liked it though. C
